The PROSTAT PRS-812 Resistance Meter Set (NSN 6625-01-480-4218, a direct upgrade and replacement for the popular PRS-800 Resistance Meter), is a constant voltage, wide range ohmmeter with data logging & calculating capabilities. Fully portable and battery operated, the PRS-812 measures resistance from <0.1 to 1.0x10¹² ohms with overall measurement accuracy of ±5%. It can be operated in fully Automatic, Automatic-Manual & Manual modes.

This sophisticated instrument digitally displays measurements in ohms, kilohms, megohms, gigohms and terohms,  in exponential format. It simultaneously displays data with a fully synchronous analog scale using x1, x10 and x100 multipliers, and a bank of color coded LED's (<103 to >10¹² Ohms). Multiple test voltages include 0.01-10V, constant 10V and 100V ranges, which may be selected automatically by the instrument to comply with industry measurement practices, or manually by the operator.

The PROSTAT PRS-812 records & stores up to 80 measurements, & calculates minimum, maximum and average of all stored data. Fully automatic, the PRS-812 controls test voltage, resistance ranging and electrification period to make the most accurate and repeatable measurements available to ESD Auditors and technicians.

The PROSTAT PFM-711A Electrostatic Field Meter (NSN 6625-01-499-3979) is a hand held, compact, electronic digital chopper field meter used for locating and measuring electrostatic fields. Use alone to measure fields on defined surfaces and materials. Red "Bulls Eye" (see below) ranging lights assist in obtaining reproducible measurements.

Use with CPM-720A Charge Plate Assembly and PCS-730 Charging Source to balance and test ionization blowers and devices. May be used to measure charge generation related to personnel, floors, chairs, carts, equipment, packaging materials, etc.

Analog output allows documentation of measurements when used in conjunction with X-Y plotter, analog data recording device, or computer equipped with A - D Daq card. (Recording device not supplied.)

The PROSTAT PGT-61-164 SureTest^© Universal Circuit Analyzer now tests circuits internationally. This patented unit incorporates all the branch circuit testing capabilities you need to effectively test and troubleshoot a branch circuit from 85–250 volts, and 45–65 Hz. Simply add the appropriate country plug adapter for use and plug in. It will apply a full 12, 15 or 20 amp load to a circuit for voltage drop measurements. This capability helps detect high-resistance points that cause fits for equipment on the line, such as loose connections, corroded wires, bad splices or faulty electrical devices. It also offers important features like True RMS, ground impedance, peak voltage, frequency, GFCI testing and the capability to identify proper wiring in receptacles.

The PROSTAT PRS-801 Resistance Meter is a unique, wide range ohmmeter with data logging, calculating and computer communication capabilities. Fully portable and battery operated, the PROSTAT PRS-801 measures resistance from 0.1 to 2.0x10¹⁴ ohms with overall measurement accuracy of ±5%. It can be operated in Automatic, Automatic-Manual and Manual modes.

To enhance accuracy in the 0.1 to 10 ohm ranges, the PROSTAT PRS-801 incorporates an automatic self calibration feature. Low range self calibration is performed using a defined resistance reference supplied with the system.

This sophisticated instrument digitally displays measurements in ohms, kilohms, megohms, gigohms and terohms, and in exponential format. Fully automatic, the PROSTAT PRS-801 Resistance Meter controls test voltage, resistance ranging and electrification period to make the most accurate and repeatable measurements available to ESD Auditors and laboratory technicians.

The PROSTAT PFK-100 set includes PROSTAT's unique PFM-711A dual range field meter, CPM-720 charged plate monitor assembly and PCS-730 ±1 kv charging source. With this instrument set you can measure electrostatic fields, analyze ionizer performance and assess the voltage generation of materials, equipment and personnel.

The battery operated PROSTAT PFM-711A Field Meter is a compact "electronic chopper" design with accuracy of +/- 2% at ambient conditions (23ºC and 30%Rh). It features automatic polarity, measurement "hold" button, low battery indicator, high and low ranges, distance ranging lights for accurate and repeatable measurements, manual zero control and a ground snap. With the supplied analog output cable, it can be used in conjunction with an X-Y plotter or any analog data-recording device.

The CPM-720A Charge Plate Assembly is 3.25 inches square. It attaches to the PFM-711A field meter for ionizer balancing per ANSI/ESD-S3.1, voltage or charge generation and voltage suppression analysis.

The PROSTAT PCS-730 +/- 1 kV Charging Source is used to charge the CPM-720 to +/- 1,000 volts to measure ionizer decay and material decay. These three instruments are match calibrated to work together for accurate and efficient auditing.

The PROSTAT The PDT-740B Static Decay Timer (NSN 6625-01-480-4217) is designed to measure the time required for a 1,000 volt charge to dissipate to less than 100, 50 or 10 volts in tenths of a second. This extremely useful accessory is used with the PROSTAT PFM-711A Field Meter and CPM-720A Charge Plate Monitor to evaluate Ionizer Decay Time in accordance with ESD Association Ionization Standard S3.1. The PDT-740B may be used to evaluate the static decay capabilities of materials, personnel, equipment and other products. It is compatible with most portable CPM's and field meters having an analog output (10,000 volts equals 1 volt). Completely automatic, the PDT-740B is simple to operate and easy to use.

The PROSTAT PFR-153 Floor Resistance Test Kit was designed exclusively by PROSTAT for measuring resistance of flooring in accordance with ESD Association Specifications. Included in this custom kit is the PRS-812 constant voltage, wide range ohmmeter with data logging and calculating capabilities. The PROSTAT PRS-800CS Cable Spacer Set insures proper 36-inch point-to-point measurements each time. These convenient tools easily slip over the PRS-801-W handles to properly align and measure for you.

The PRS-801-W electrodes are precision milled resistance probes with conductive rubber pad for use with PROSTAT’s PRS-812 Resistance Meter. The PHT-770 Hygro-Thermometer is a highly accurate, battery operated temperature and humidity indicating instrument. Its large LCD displays both temperature and humidity measurements simultaneously.

The STAT-GUARD ground adapter plug is included in your kit as a convenient attachment to a functional ground circuit.

A new addition to this kit is PROSTAT’s exclusive Floor Test Manual, which gives you step-by-step instructions on performing floor measurements in accordance with ESD S7.1. It also provides instructions for performing Body Voltage Charge Generation and Body Voltage Decay with additional PROSTAT Accessories available.

All instruments and accessories are packaged in a molded case for easy access and storage.

The PROSTAT PGB-745 Decay Accessories Set (NSN 6625-01-480-2663) is specifically designed for measuring charge movement and decay time across ESD controlled materials. The set consists of two stainless steel electrodes and two very high resistance test leads selected for this application. The high resistance leads minimize leakage during the test cycle and are equipped with male banana plugs.

In conjunction with the U.S. Air Force, PROSTAT designed the AF/PAK-201B Consolidated Ionization ESD Test Kit to meet periodic testing and grounding requirements per TO 00-25-234 for ionized environments. This kit combines resistance capabilities & advanced field measurement to measure work surfaces, equipment, furniture and flooring resistance, check ground and electrical circuit reliability, measure electrostatic fields, measure the balance and decay time, and air velocity of ionizers and measure body voltage generation.

Included is the PROSTAT PRS-812 Resistance Meter Set (click HERE for details), a unique, constant voltage, wide range ohmmeter with data logging and calculating capabilities. The kit includes PROSTAT's unique PFM-711A dual range field meter, CPM-720 charged plate monitor assembly, PCS-730 ±1 kv charging source and PDT-740B Decay Timer. With this instrument set, you can measure electrostatic fields, analyze ionizer performance and assess the voltage generation and decay time of materials, equipment and personnel. The PMT-872 Wrist Strap/Footwear Checker is a unique, highly portable, battery operated multi-function PASS/FAIL performance verifier. It confirms the operational resistance range of single and dual conductor wrist straps, and with the PFA-860 Test Plate, checks heel straps and ESD controlled footwear. The PGT-61-154 SureTest^® Circuit Analyzer is included for all the branch circuit testing capabilities you need to effectively test and troubleshoot a branch circuit. The PAN-750 Anemometer is a battery operated instrument used to measure air velocities and temperature of ionizers. This instrument can also be used to measure wind velocities and check air conditioning and heating systems.

Everything is packed in foam within a hard shell carrying case with retractable handle and wheels for easy portability.

In conjunction with the U.S. Air Force, PROSTAT designed the AF/PAK-202C Basic Consolidated ESD Test Kit to meet periodic testing and grounding requirements per TO 00-25-234. This kit combines resistance capabilities and advanced field measurement to measure work surfaces, equipment, furniture and flooring resistance, check ground and electrical circuit reliability and measure electrostatic fields. The Kit is similar to the PROSTAT AF/PAK-201B configuration, but does not come with the following accessories: CPM-720A, PCS-730, PDT-740B, PAN-750.

Like the AF/PAK-202C, the PROSTAT AF/PAK-202D combines advanced, computer downloadable resistance capabilities, and advanced field measurement to measure work surfaces, equipment, furniture and flooring resistance, check ground and electrical circuit reliability and measure electrostatic fields. Comes complete with downloading software & cable. Identical to the AF/PAK-202C, except it uses the PROSTAT PRS-801 Resistance Meter System, a more sophisticated, constant voltage, wide range ohmmeter with data logging, calculating and computer communication capabilities.

In conjunction with the Air Force and TO 00-25-234 (Refer to Air Force TO 00-25-234 Section VII, Periodic Testing & Grounding Procedures), PROSTAT has developed the AF AuditKit30 ESD Auditing Kit. The AF ESD AuditKit30 (Item 70, Table 7-3) is a collection of instruments and support accessories to periodically evaluate ESD control equipment. AuditKit30 is for back shop operations where circuit card, rather than component, removal and replacement are the usual mode of operation.

In conjunction with the Air Force and TO 00-25-234 (Refer to Air Force TO 00-25-234 Section VII, Periodic Testing & Grounding Procedures), PROSTAT has developed the AF ESD AuditKit40. The AF AuditKit40 (Item 71, Table 7-3) is a collection of instruments and support accessories to periodically evaluate ESD control equipment. AuditKit40 has all the components of AuditKit30 but has additional instruments to test ionizers. Ionizers are used in facilities that routinely replace electronic circuit card components that are supersensitive to ESD.
