Cool-A-Zone fans are engineered on century-old proven evaporative air cooling technology. This proven technology is then combined with innovative and forward-thinking technical advances to the housing, controls, fan blade, motor and water pump. Via advanced engineering, Cool-A-Zone evaporative cooling units are sized efficiently with sizes and weights smaller than the competition. The result is a cooling evaporative fan that cools the same amount of space, is highly portable/field deployable, is eco-friendly, and is more powerful. Other advances by Cool-A-Zone include an easy-to-use digital control panel to automate many of the functions, specially designed metal fan blades, and direct drive motors. Cool-A-Zone products are truly green. They use a natural wind and water process with no harmful greenhouse gases generated (as does air conditioning). What makes Cool-A-Zone Evaporative Cooling Fans unique?

How Cool-A-Zone  Works

Evaporative cooling fans utilize the concept of dripping water over thick “cooling pads” that absorb and trap the water, a fan then pulls airflow across the pads, resulting in a decrease to the ambient air temperature of 10°-25°F, depending upon the climate. The water, held in a reservoir at the bottom of the unit, can be either manually filled or can be kept filled by connecting a standard water hose to the back of the unit. A water pump submerged beneath the water pushes the water up a fixed hose to drip the water over the cooling pads.

Cool-A-Zone's C-400 is a next generation portable evaporative cooling fan that can lower the ambient air temperature by up to 25°F, turning a restrictive 90°F area into a comfortable 70°F area. The 3-speed C-400 cools a 4,000 sq. ft. area, has a maximum air delivery of 15,000 CFM, yet is 1/3 smaller in size compared to the comparable Port-A-Cool model (2 Speed PAC2K482S NSN 4120-01-481-6048), and weighs significantly less too (249 lbs vs 345 lbs). All Cool-A-Zone fans have a built-in Debris Filter Screen to eliminate damaging
